Heating season is now upon us and it is getting colder by the day, so it is essential and important that your boiler is working efficiently through the winter. If you have a sealed heating system you will see a gauge on your boiler. When you first put on the boiler for winter you should always check the pressure on the gauge when the system in cold and when the system is hot. This will help protect your system from your pressure being too high if there is a fault in your boiler caused by the pressure vessel. This is usually picked up in a service.
This is important to do if you wish to have a fully working system through the winter! Always remember, if you want to prolong the life of your boiler, you must make sure your boiler is serviced once a year – this will save you repair bills in the future and give you a hassle free winter.
